I replaced my Toyo MTs with Toyo RTs yesterday. I absolutely love the MTs and decided that I would try the RTs out this time. Initial impression after 160 miles of driving with 140 miles of that being on the freeway at 80mph. They are slightly quieter than the MTs, there is no noticeable difference in mileage, they squirm a bit more but that may be due to the old MTs being at 9/32 and the new tires 19/32 of an inch of tread. I will not have a chance to try them offroad before the trial 500 miles is up but purely based off of looks they will likely be adequate for what I usually do. My only concern is the sidewalls and sharp rocks.

Maybe if it was a 7.3, I have the V10. People worship the 7.3, but for my current needs, the V10 is a great powerplant.

However, the body is relatively rust-free. It will eventually be powered by a 6bt. I don't plan on getting rid of it any time soon :smiley_drive:

I had a v10 van and would take it over the noisy 7.3 any day.

Tried the new RTs in some slick clay mud and on sharp rocks. They performed well, required a bit more wheelspeed to clear mud than the MTs but much better than the bfg ATs I have on my Tacoma. They gripped rock very nicely when wet, possibly better than the MTs.

I had written a post with 2 pictures and tried to edit to add the above photo and it got deleted. Anyhow, the Toyo RTs worked great on snowpack and ice and worked well in about 4" of snow. If we hadn't gotten stuck in traffic for 3 hours we would have gotten to about 18" of snow to drive in.
