Where exactly is this? I'm pretty close to Table Rock, and in fact will be there next weekend.

Thanks,

Casey

Off of 86, south of Branson. Surrounded by development there was gravel so I took it, then a 2 track so I took it. Beautiful area down there.

I've been lurking for a while but I'm mostly on DezertRangers and Powerstroke.org. ExPo definitley fills a gap that the other two lack though!

Here are a few. I call it my luxury chase truck. I do moderate-high speed, long-distance runs through the desert with my prerunner buddies.

This is my new to me 81 Ford F250 with the i6 gas job. It's on 39.5/16.5R16.5 tires, I trade my locked 85 Yota for it as I wanted something simpler and more comfy. The stack will be coming off asap...

How do you put a stock on something with an I6 in it? Don't get me wrong, I love the engine, but that's just tacky in the extreme. Is it even functional or just for looks?

If by functional you mean robbing me of low end torque, then yes it's functional haha. I just got the truck and the PO had the stack put on. I should be able to sell it for a couple hundred bucks to some punk with a diesel, oh wait I have a diesel too..

The Cummins 5.9, and 6.7 are I6s. Plenty of morons cutting holes in their boxes and putting idiotic stacks on them.

Sorry, do I sound too harsh? Maybe. Stacks are still stupid! Nice truck Gab. Can't wait to see how it turns out!

Stacks are plenty stupid. Nothing like destroying the use of a truck bed. I walked by 12v dodge the other day with on of the awful stacks and the truck was covered from headlight to tailight from the exhaust and of course it had one of those stupid cummins stickers in the rear window.

Stacks have there place.

I have thought about putting one in my little ford.

If you want to haul something you just hook up the trailer.

The place for a stack is on a tractor. Pick ups have beds to haul things in, not to melt things in, and hooking up a trailer every time you want to move something is ridiculous. The one exception that makes sense (sort of) is if you have a farm truck that is constantly towing a stock trailer. A tall stack MIGHT get the exhaust further away from the critters stuck in the trailer.

Don't even get me started on the guys who fold out their tow mirrors on half ton short bed trucks, yet don't ever tow anything. I daily drive a dually, and the only time my mirrors go out? You guessed it... WHEN I'M TOWING!

My area of Central Florida has this growning new trend that is literally driving me INSANE. Dropping the rear end of the truck to the point it looks so stupid and ridiculous that I laugh and point every time I see one drive by. Our girl that works for us has a truck like this, and I told her I'd pay out of my own pocket to have her truck leveled and looking normal. She refused and told me that I'm old and don't understand what looks cool?????????????
