I agree the IFS is not all that bad, I just prefer simple and even cheaper parts.

The parts are simpler and possibly cheaper however the implementation isn't one your average fabricator would be willing to undertake so that kind of kills the whole simplicity aspect to a degree... IMHO.:victory:

But I know what you mean. It's a simpler design overall than IFS.

The price I was giving as an example was Canadian funds.

Hopefully ARB will be releasing the 9.5" rear diff in the next year or two.


I don't think I would ever be able to spend the amount of money a SAS would cost on IFS replacement parts, in 10 years of hard wheeling the IFS, But I see your point, once in place and biting the bullet on initial cost it would be simpler..

If I ever do a SAS it will be for performance and flex...
