jump seats shoulder harness removal

2019 tacoma access cab -

no seats so no need to have it. my thought is to pull out the top/ retractor all the way and razor off the belt. then unbolt the bottom.

what am i forgetting?

why not just unbolt the whole assembly?

well .... i finally got the incentive to unbolt until i looked at the top panel in the door jamb and it has a label marked SR AIRBAG. not worth the risk or wearing it if i do the wrong thing, so for now they'll stay.

"daft" you say. well, i've seen bigger wastes of time energy and money on a daily basis here. i guess it's all perspective.
