JT Bed rail cap

Hey All,

I have a new JT and mounted a Thule Xsporter Pro Mid(from a '07 Silverado 2500).




The fit is fine and should work well with our RTT. BUT......the plastic bedrail cap has me concerned. The cap has crushed a bit. I swear it was fine 3 days ago when I installed the rack. And I can't see the clamps being any looser and still being functional. Plus I haven't even put the RTT up there yet....






Anyone else run into this with other racks? Should I be concerned?

I have a small amount of bed cap deflection with my RSI SmartCap where the clamps are install. I read others owner of the RSI/Gladiator combo on another forum see to have similar issues.

cool, thanks for the reply..... I just didn't want to have issues when i throw up my rtt. Glad to hear that others have the same situation.
