jk grill inset

i wanted to add a grill inset since the openings on a wrangler grill are huge...
too much possibilities of damaging the radiator.
so i researched the options.
there's a company in germany who sells one for 77 euros(!!!) that's way cheaper than in the US where i found some around $300.
still more than i wanted to spend...

so i built one myself: 12 euros and a bit less than an hours work.

and a quick install report is on my site under 'project xxx' - 'mod installs'

I agree...$300 is an insane amount of money to pay for something like this. I'll be doing the same thing to my Jeep when I get the opportunity to do so.

Shoo those holes are small. You'd be amazed how much restriction that would cause at highway speeds.
NOT a good idea IMHO
I discovered that in experiments for racing.
Looks good but leave it for the bling crowd.

they'restill bigger than the radiator fins... so i don't see that problem. and when the radiator gets hit by insects, rocks, etc. the fins close up and the restriction is worse...
i did a weekend trip after i installed it and my gas milage was still the same,(even a bit lower but probably more dueto the street conditions)
