Hmmmm.... If you don't mind copying me on that PM can you please? Its fine if you don't want to, I wouldn't blame you for not wanting to give out your camping spots to some random guy on the internet...lol.

Nice spot by the creek! Looks like a good time.

Thanks! It was really nice, we saw a LOT of people out camping in the woods on our drive across the 6700 rd. I didn't think we would find such a nice spot.

Ran up the Fortune Creek trail to Gallagher Head lake last weekend. Fun trail, bouncy though. I seem to have gotten exactly zero pictures from actually on the trail.... busy with other things I guess.

Camped on Blewett Pass this weekend. Might be my favorite area in WA. Big trees, and arid desert.

My Rola is mounted like yours, much nicer that way. Can you detail what welding you did to your rack? Just where each half meets or other welds?

I was under the impression that the stock side rails have limited capacity, any problems when using the rtt? How did you attach the rtt to the Rola? Thanks!!

Yes I welded the three sections of the Rola and extension together. then covered the welds in a polyurethane caulk. The welds didn't fully seal it.

The rails don't seem to have any problems with the tent. I don't remember the weight rating but its about what the tent is. I have the Rack mounted to angle iron that keeps it down lower than the stock cross bars, then the tent is clamped to the basket. Much easier to get on and off than onto the stock rails, did that one year, and I had to have my wife get the bolts started, my hands were simply too big....
