Automotive ADHD is fun!
Word on the street is that there aren't many good ones left. I am happy with the condition of mine, especially for $200. Everything mechanical on it is very crisp and smooth, and the finish is used, but not abused.
If I am feeling rich in the future, I'm gonna refinish it in a VERY dark gray and put some dark stained walnut grips on it. But for now I will just enjoy. Range report coming soon, I promise!

Awesome gun. I feel so bad for you guys in the liberal gun hating state....a 10 day waiting period is horrible. Here in Az i walk in with my CCW, buy ANY gun and fill out the paperwork. They don't even have to call it in thanks to the CCW card. My last CZ was the RAMI but got rid of it after finding out it fed horribly.Also for you guys into the surplus things like that one of the best stores to hit up is www.JGsales.com They are in prescott, Az if you are ever up there swing by....pretty cool store. They have quite a few cz-82's right now for 199. Also for guys trying to find cheap ammo these days another good place is www.ammoengine.com

Honestly, I have no problem with waiting 10 days. Sure I would prefer faster, but I can live with it. It's the $130 in extra fees that were tacked onto my $225 gun that sorta peeved me! And the "handgun safety test" was such a joke - "True or false: You can drink while shooting, as long as you drink no more than 1 hard drink per hour"

I loved that safety test, with out a doubt anyone that fails that should have their breathing lic revoked lol.
I do not mind the 10 days either, what really gets me is the crap they pulled on the ammo and things of that nature. CCW is another joke. the constitution does not say you have the right to keep and bear arms if you have a lic to do so.

Took it to my local range today and sent 50rds through it. Not a single FTF, it smoothly shot all 50 through (though that last round is quite a doozy to get into the mag). Didn't have much time, so I shot up 2 targets - the gun has a solid kick, but definitely far from punishing. Accuracy would be hard to judge - I am a very inexperienced shooter and I was shaking with low blood sugar, but all shots were within a reasonably tight circle.
I am definitely happy with this gun.

You got yourself a real nice shooter there, I've had one for about 2 years now and have found it to be very reliable and surprisingly accurate. I've put about 400rnds down range with it and only had one FTF but I think the fact I was shooting left handed may have had something to do with it.
Because I knew it mostly be a camp/truck type weapon I really didn't want to spend too much to refinish it. I used Brownells teflon-moly gun finish, it was simple to apply and dried to a nice flat black.

Dear Israel: Thank you for making the only good left handed holster for my gun. Specifically, the Front Line model 90xx5. It's a CZ83 model, customized to my older style round trigger guard. I am very happy with it, and it cost less than a lot of the universals out there.
BTW - it really looks quite orange in that pic. In real life, it's more of a tan.

Very true, but with the open container laws in California, it is hard to keep my liquor consumption properly regulated while driving.
