It's Friday, let's talk cocktails.

I have an ongoing video project exploring some of my favorite cocktail recipes adapted for wilderness backpacking.

Anybody else got a special libation for out in the field?
Or just something that they enjoy on Friday evenings?

Lately I've been enjoying a maple "old fashioned" with either some Buffalo Trace or Weller SR.
Love a maple old fashioned!
That was actually my first cocktail recipe video after reviewing a revolting Old Fashioned mix from Pocket Cocktails.

If I'm backpacking, I keep it simple, powerful , bang for the ounce. Whiskey, sometimes mezcal or brandy in there. Usually a nice bourbon and a nice malt, both decanted into Fiji bottles. I will make cocktails on the river. Some classics, daiquiris, sours. Schweppes tonic, one can will make three or four small G&Ts. Fresh limes a must. Classic legit Mai Tai's about the biggest surprise on the river.
