iPad app for trailer design?

Is there a good iPad app for designing where stuff can go in a trailer footprint? Either 3d or 2d. There’s got to be a better way than graph paper and cutting out scale size camping gear, or is there?

I got a fancy new iPad and pen and want to put it to use to plan out my adventure trailer.

Sketchup. There's a free version but it takes a computer.

There's a Youtube series on how to design a teardrop with it.

I use it a lot.

+1 for sketchup. I know this does not help you on the original question as you need a computer. You'll likely find the ipad frustrating when compared to a mouse, or trackball and keyboard

Thanks I’ll give it a go. I have a mac desktop was hoping to try out the iPad.

I do a lot of 3D designs in Sketchup, but for teardrops –and some other stuff– I find it easier to stick to 2D. Just select Parallel Projection under the Camera dropdown.

Check out shapr3d. It's a very comprehensive cad app and designed specifically for iPad and pencil integration. I think there are a limited number of designs that you can make without paying for the app. However you will be able to do a trailer design https://www.shapr3d.com/
