The little details are rather time consuming, but I have been working on it everyday. Thanks for all the support and compliments!

Cut the back of the cab open, drilled, primed and painted my spacer beam for the upper gap on the cab. It will also be the rear base for my cab roof rack. Still have to make diamond plate covers for the old wheel well gaps. Lots to do!

I was thinking that this may be of use to you in terms of the 4x4 running gear.
I just saw it in ebay

They are rigidly attached. Two reasons, first being that is what Road Rescue (people who made the box) suggested it based on the original design of the module. Second, the cab is actually shorter than the van front end. The cab is mounted on the exact same mounts the box is mounted with. Obviously time will tell how well or poorly this choice was.

Installed the flashing/cover over the cab rear beam today after a driving it around a bit. I have been trying to work off the list of odds and ends. Picked up some 7" spot mirrors to help me see around the truck when driving.

Also finally measured it from stem to stern, 19'10", so basically 20 feet. I cut off more than 20 feet of frame from this truck! In total I removed 10' of drive shafts, 22.5' of frame rails, three crossmembers and a bench seat. Now it is 12 feet of box, four feet of cab, and three feet ten inches of hood! Hopefully I can get to the scales this weekend.
