Those things made some serious rounds in the LC community, I first heard about them a year ago from a mutual acquaintance of the original owners. At the time I think they had exhausted every legal route to get them permanently imported and since then a hundred others have tried the same thing

Paris metro. I pop up long enough to switch rails. Ugh.

I don't want that thing. Even bruce at oex, who got in a couple hiluxes, didn't want to deal with the hassle again. I think outside of a stated need to train the military on one, it's out the door . Although, someone from a foreign diplomatic corps could have bought it and registered it.

I bought a 60 from this gentleman last winter for the good frame and other parts. He did tell me of the two identical hzj's he had. Awesome trucks. They both had like 600 miles or less on the odo.
