installed some parking lamps on the disco

Since Land rover never put adequate parking lamps in the disco its has always bugged and didn't look right. So I had some LEDs left over from my trailer build and I installed them in the back of the lenses and pig tailed them to the city lights in the headlights. looks pretty good if you ask me.

Nice and bright !! It helps oncoming cars see the edges.

In the old archives, there is a thread on using a D-90 socket in lieu of the single filament D-1 socket.

I did this trick on my D-1 right after I bought my D1 -- I used the D-90 sockets, dual filament bulbs and run an added parking lite wire from the marker light in the headlight base. I recall I had to get the sockets from LR dealer. They might be the same as one of the tailight sockets. This is the only yellow illumination if you have aftermarket front bumpers that delete the bumper cap light.
