I did the same thing with a chinese made from HD. Used a few times then burnt up. I bought great condition hypotherm 45 nice cutter
I purchased an import plasma a couple of years back and lament it...welding boot should have purchased a brand name like Hobart/mill operator/Hypotherm....
Agree had one lasted 10 cuts, I had bought an extra 2 yr warrantyI do NOT recommend units with basic MOSFETs like "Cut 50". The consumables are too expensive and the MOSFETs tend to blow out.
Maybe yours was a better older chinesium product, mine was a complete piece of ********And here I am, with the Cut-50D, near 9 years later.
Works great, just cut some 1/4 plate (steel) with it last week.
base plates for the little Tracker roll bar.
And the consumables, where are you finding "expensive" options?
I bought my machine from ebay, so the consumables come from there as well
My torch takes Amico
This is the kit I buy when I need to restock.
Is $100 for a 100-pc kit expensive? Serious question....
