INEOS Projekt Grenadier

There have been so many great car company ideas...

Vector
Tucker
DeLorean
Shelby
Stutz
Excaliber

I'll add to the list. Most of them had great car guys involved. But they are gone. It is a tough game I'm not sure Grenadier is any better. Just another cool one off.

Bricklin
Merkur
Mosler
Buell
Marcos
Muntz
Spyker
Riley

And not to forget the BIG car makers who are gone today

Oldsmobile
Plymouth
Mercury
AMC, Eagle, Rambler
Studebaker
Saturn
Saab
Hummer... OK maybe they are back....

Thing is survival in the auto industry is a tough go....

Grenadier has zero reason to instill confidence. I'm pretty sure like many others this is aimed at a niche market with limited appeal. And the price seems too low for the spec. Just like Tucker if it proves to have momentum the industry can kill it.

Tell you what Billie...
... we'll put you down for a "no", eh!?

btw you missed Maxwell. Notable here for the amazing off road abilities of one of it's motor cars best captured in the film, "Something New", directed by Nell Shipman (also the driver). You may remember it ...
If we open this up to trucks and things made 100 years ago thats a whole new ball game, but it was the stock market crash which killed the Maxwell.

PS I love everything about cars even the electrics from 100 years ago. If you want a good investment, the oldest engine manufacturer still in production today is ELCO and they still make electric motors for boats,

130 years later.... this is a great investment. Proven for generations.
Grenadier just has no history.
