I suppose that’s a good question about the gears. I have no idea, have never tried to check that out...as far as I know the truck is stock. Same probably with the tires. I do believe they’re M&S 10 ply steel wrapped.What gears and tire size are you running to get 15 mpg in a 6.2 with a camper?
Tiger is still in storage for winter, across town.
I can say that the camper is much more aerodynamic than having a big slide sitting on the truck...there’s no big air gap between the overhead cab and truck’s cab and the camper’s width is just a few inches out past the width of the truck on either side. All in all, we’ve been extremely happy with the handling, power and driving comfort of our 6.2 Reg Cab.
