Light and stiff composite body. Good insulation value. Lots of room, and possible sideways beds. Good ground clearance, excellent living space to wheelbase ratio. Likely seats and sleeps 4. Note that the top is inflated, and thus has decent insulation, at least compared to a regular tent. The fiberglass body may provide additional payload as well.
I am not too keen on the styling, but that is a very comfortable, modestly capable, very compact overland vehicle. The final version won't have the wrap around windows, and will have a different (or no) rear door.
With the 4 cylinder diesel it probably gets 18-20mpg. The turbo gas 4 cyl would probably be 13-15mpg.
