Quick backcountry camping tip: Do Not Burn your toilet paper! ...

... (This might have made sense in Louisiana, where the guy was from where most of that swampy state is frequently under water, but Not in the arid, wind blown, drought ridden west! No, just No, do not burn your TP!) ...
He certainly didn't burn it completely, soak it with water, and check it with his hand to make sure it was out and cold. ... :cool:

Quite sad that one ignorant @$#$#! can start a 20,000 acre fire and force the evacuation of 2000 households. :(

Here in the great state of New Mexico, the forest service burned 290k acres they didn't use tp... but they did use the benefit of high winds.
Just saying..

The Phoenix paper also reported he admitted to having a campfire and claimed he didn't see the signs prohibiting them — not sure how thats possible. Not saying in anyway the TP thing was OK or not responsible, just that he’s a massive jerk.
