How do you carry your rifle in your open Jeep? Show Me.

Back to the original question - do you need quick easy access, like jumping out to shoot game (after safely getting off the road, of course!), or just for transport? If the former, I like the scabbard idea - there are quite a few to choose from. If the latter, you might look into the MorRyde Overhead MOLLE rack, which is what I use with my hard top. If topless, it might look weird, but it keeps them out of the way.

The Jeep is open and it's for easy access, I'm working on building a trunk area where the backseat would be
and I was thinking in front of, or on top of that is where the mount will be.
