Hiking cell phone solar charger help

Years ago, I went to Everest and I had something like the picture. It was a solar charger that had batteries in it. It had a clip on the end, which i clipped to my back pack. I used to to keep an iPod charged.
It was awesome. But it’s old, probably broken in a box somewhere.

the wife and I are looking for something similar for a trip to the islands. Where we can be walking and it is clipped onto a backpack charging away.
Something. Water proof. Or really water resistant.

but something durable and something that doesn’t have to be unfolded, and hopefully can be cargo pocket sized....

anyone have a suggestion on a quality piece? Amazon seems to have a few that look like the same Chinese knockoff by 12 different names which screams stay away... cheap junk.

thank you from a tech dummy. Literally IQ of a spoon when it comes to tech.

I use the BioLite solar panel/battery - larger surface area than what you used previously but really light weight.

I like the larger surface area/solar panel since I can either clip it to the top of my pack or the deck of my kayak, and larger panel likely means more charging.

Can’t say enough good things about BioLite products.
