I just picked up my 2nd Montero, ( first was a 96 LS with 86,000 original miles.
This one is a 2006 Limited 1 owner 142,000. I paid $1500 because hail damage on hood, and front bumper cover has damage. I already ordered OME HD lift kit, ARB bumper, 295/70/17 tires, 17X9 -10 offset Pro Comp wheels.

Big tire! Do you know of others that have used this lift, wheel offset and tire size before on a Gen 3? I predict you will need to do a LOT of trimming. My 285/75R16 on stock wheels (16x7ET46) and OME lift rub occasionally, and the front inner wheel wells are now "self clearanced". You will be 1/2" taller & 1/2" wider.

My stock wheel is 17x7.5 et 44/46?
The new ones are 17x9 et -6 which puts my wheel 1.2" further away from suspension.

HELP!!
My ARB should be here this week, my issue is when I removed the bumper cover ( it was damaged and poorly repaired ) my driver side "crush" zone has been disfigured. Carafax is clean, the wife hit a pole at parents ranch in 2017 Dad just patched it up.IMG_20200507_101025.jpgIMG_20200507_101035.jpg

Here is the damage. Only like first 4-5 inches, frame itself is fine.
ARB uses these frame horns to mount brackets for their bumperIMG_20200508_095427.jpgIMG_20200508_142136.jpgIMG_20200508_095458.jpgIMG_20200508_095450.jpg

My stock wheel will be 70mm further "poke" about 2.75 inches, the stock wheel offset is way conservative

Also with that tire size and even offset you will need to do quite a bit of trimming, mainly in the front. On full compression the tire will rub the fender and ARB bumper

Gotcha, I am not scared of some trimming!!!
Also you are right I just need someone to cut off the 4-6 inches that is distorted and have another "square" set up to mount the ARB brackets. It is never coming off.
Hell I only paid $1500 for the Monty and
ARB-3434060.jpg3434050_a.jpgr t ($1200 for bumper w/shipping)
The next thing to figure out is I think the model # of my ARB bumper is a sliver/grey. That changes my original Monstaliner color choices
