Can someone please tell me if bfg KO2 tires fit a stock 2005 Montero ltd with 17" wheels?. I have searched on the shops online but the only result I get is bfg for 16", does this mean I will have to acquire 16" wheels so I can get to enjoy the KO2s on my truck?. Please chime in if you have any info.

You will want to run 265/70R17 size on your 17" wheels. That size is available in almost every A/T tire model.

At 265mm with and 17" rim the aspect ratio of 70 is roughly 31" 75 is 32" and 80 is 33" Aspect ratio is a determined by tire width and sidewall height so if you change the tire width the sidewall height at a given aspect ratio changes.

Yes, but the original OEM size of 265/65R17 is a very uncommon tire size in the US. There is little change to speedometer readout (~2mph @ 60) with the increase to 265/70.

Thank you folks!
I think I am going to run 265/70R17. I am just realizing now how difficult it is to find wheels for this truck here in Canada. I would have liked to run 16" stock wheels for earlier Monteros but those are unicorns.
