Help: 80 Series Flatbed Build Out?

I put a ton on miles on this new 79 series recently and I would not trade it for my 80 series. The 79 series is a work truck and although it drives ok its not that comfortable

If one only needs 2 doors Maltec would be my choice

That new 79 series is sweet! I do love the look of the 70 series, that boxy body is much more my taste than the newer LCs. That said...comfort is very important to us for this extensive journey, so it’s helpful to know that it’s a rough rider.

We’re also taking into consideration what would have the most widely available parts worldwide. From what we’ve read so far it sounds like the 100 series would be the best choice if we go with an LC. Thoughts?

We’re also considering a 2nd Gen Tacoma if we can’t get an LC conversion that fits our budget. Have been following
other threads re weight issues with Tacos and FWC and not ruling it out as an option.

Love the look of that four door you posted from ‘Tom’s’ - new to this world... can you point me in the direction of more info?
Those Maltecs are sweet rigs!
