For watching back on most computers with a wide screen monitor 20" and above, what res shot with the cam will work best when viewing full screen via YouTube?

That is an incredible looking detailed video with that new HD camera.
He did say they cropped the movie from 4:3 to 16:9 playback for viewing on YouTube.
I do not know how to crop them with Windows Movie Maker, probably can not be done anyways with it.
Not looking to spend $$$ on new software either.

I am thinking the 960P.1080p at 30 frames per second, 960p with 4:3 resolution for maximum viewing area, or 720p at 60 frames per second
