Has anyone run 9.00 x 16 NDT on a M416 or M100?

So I recently replaced axles and added a long arm suspension system to my JKU (and of course bigger tires). I had been towing my M416 (sprung over) behind it. I have been using 7.50 x 16 NDT which works out to be an approx. 32 inch tire. I believe the stock tire on the M416 was the 7.0 x 16 (which I think equates to a 29 inch tire). The listing for the 9.00 x 16 works out to be a 36 inch tire. Not worried too much about fender clearance as the spring over has given me plenty of room there. Just wondering if the stock M416 rims will work out with that size tire. Thanks for any and all input.

Great question!

With 7.00x16" on the trailer it has about 2.5" to 3" of clearance to the trailer frame. Ignoring height, the difference in width between the 7.00x16" and 9.00x16" is 2.1". Or figuring the tire is centered on the rim 1.05" less clearance between tire and frame. Between the 7.50 and 9.00 would be 0.85" less clearance. I would say the tires should fit with no issues. I was considering 255/85/16 matching the Toyota, but if stick with the military look then the 9.00x16 look like a good option.

just some online specs:
Firestone Military Non-Directional Tread Tire in 7.00 x 16" Square Shoulder
Diameter: 30.50", Tread Width: 5.80", Rim Width: 16"

Firestone Military Non-Directional Tread Tire in 7.50 x 16" Square Shoulder
Diameter: 31.60", Tread Width: 6.20", Rim Width: 16"

Firestone Military Non-Directional Tread Tire in 9.00 x 16" Square Shoulder
Diameter: 35.20", Tread Width: 7.90", Rim Width: 16"

I’ve run the 9.00x16 without issue. I run 37” Irok ND on my 110, and use a 9.00/16 on the bonnet for a spare- and the trailer runs the 9.00 as well, without issue, on original wheels...
