Has anybody started with a trailer body for a camper ?

New to the forum, so be kind.....
I'm looking at an Isuzu NPR HD Crew Cab as the basis of an expedition camper.
I think I have the 4WD mods figured out using Ford Supoerduty axles, etc.
For the box I'm thinking of getting one of the trailer manufacturers to build me a box. This would be somewhat custom, as I want about 7 foot interior headroom. But it seems like a great place to start with a pretty stout weatherproof box to fit out to my needs.
Probably go with a 3 point mounting, depending on how much suspension I can achieve with the Ford axles, etc.
Any thoughts on the box ?
BTW, I'm in the US. A trailer box 14 foot long, 7 foot wide would be about $3,000.
Thanks,
Bob

I used a Morgan 20' box that was a take off.Think I paid $1500 for it.Worked ok,just wished I had looked for a straighter one.

I had a 12 foot morgan on my 07 fuso. It was heavy as it sat, then I would need to add rigid foam interior panels etc. I just decided to make my own.
