KD8UJP here, and KD8UJO is the wife.
Primary rigs are Yaesu FT-8800R and a pile of Chinese Baofung handhelds. We're not on shortwave much, but with the new trailer build we will be. It will be a low power rig though. Maybe 10w or something of that nature; Just enough to get weather radar image and fax reports.
