Looking to start a trailer build soon and I'm going to be using some half torsion axles. I have a 5th gen 4Runner that I'd like to run Toyota wheels on the trailer as well to have spares on hand etc.
Most of the 2-3,500lb axles come in a 5x4.5 bolt pattern. Instead of running wheel adapters, I'd like to just have the proper idler hub assembly to start.
The "bare" axle set I'm looking at are these:
The problem is finding an idler hub that'll work to be able to run 4Runner 17" Off-Road stock wheels. I talked to someone at etrailer.com and the only ones they have fit up to a 16.5" wheel...
I'm waiting to hear back from Truckspring.com to see if these hubs will work:
I know some people have experience with running Toyota 17" wheels on their trailers (and people with general trailer axle knowledge) so just trying to pick some brains here.
