Looks like your delivery is 11 days shreds of ours. Congrats. After two years in our LMTV Patagonia from GXV we learned that the heating system is plenty robust and the thermal envelope is top notch but the floor temps hover around 45 degrees even if the overal interior temp is 75. We have spent many weeks in sub-zero temperatures and found the ice cold floors to be a nuisance. So on this truck we have electric in floor heat which should eliminate the need for slippers and that dreaded feeling of stepping onto a freezing bathroom floor waiting for the hot water to kick in. Where do you plan to travel? After we commission the truck which we expect to take at least a week we will head to Colorado, San Diego, Oregon, Washington before heading back to Alaska in March/April.
Hope you survived the earthquake. Will you be able to get out of Alaska to pickup your GXV?
We plan to travel locally at first then eastern Canada in the Spring, summer, and fall.

If you drive through Santa Fe, NM you are welcome to driveway boondock at our home.

We are about to pick up our rather modified Turtle from GXV in mid December just wondering how is your toilet is working and weather you like it better than the standard Thetford.

We have been living in our turtle 7 days now and everything is working great. It worth spending the 4 or 5 days at GXV to work out the bugs. We had a tire issue took 3 days to resolve with Goodyear. The tire was goodyear tire defect. Got it replaced drives great now. Also had a small water leak issue fixed while we were there. The seperette toilet is working great. I think better than a cassette toilet. The liquids get drained with the gray tank, the solids go to a dumpster. No mess no problem.

Awesome to hear about the seperette toilet. I have a cassette toilet, and believe the seperette is a far superior if given the option, the #1 going into the grey tank is just icing on the cake.

Care to give a longer term review of the Separett weekender toilet and how it has been working out? I am trying to decide between the Weekender and the other available model.
