Spread them out and let them cool. I would start with the corners and slowly move towards the centers alternating your weld locations, are you going for a full weld? or just enough to hold it in place?In the process of welding the floor of the trailer and I've seen 4" welds and a span of 12". Whats the norm? 12g floor welding to the frame that is 3/16". Looking for suggestions anyone??
Just checking, I would do a 1 inch long weld every foot, should be more than enough to hold it in place, and would minimize the amount of warping you'd get, 4" is my mind is over kill.I was planning on doing what you are talking about by creating a series of spot welds then connecting them over time but was not thinking I needed to weld the entire floor.
