Agoura?

GarageGuy,
You in Agoura Hills? Odd that both those post are from AH.

I grew up out there, and I know the shop that the 40 is at. When I was a kid I worked at the shop right across the drive from him.

I could go check it out for you if you like :Wow1:

Actually looks pretty nice: http://losangeles.craigslist.org/sfv/cto/2516722675.html

Also, to followup on the $39,500 FJ-40 post above, here is one for $45,000: http://losangeles.craigslist.org/sfv/cto/2515163558.html. Whether this is a "good find" or just shows that SoCal is crazy, is left as an exercise for the reader :).

Hey Jaxon,

I'm thinking about getting a Cruiser, so looking at CL now and then to see what's out there. I just thought that Duramax conversion was interesting (and those $40K 40's were nuts). I'm not ready to buy anything yet, got to sell my '85 4Runner first, but if you want to check it out in person I'm curious what you would find, and if there is a connection between those Agoura cruisers or if it's just a coincidence.

My friend in San Diego imports Fjs (Hjs) from Australia, I can give you his info if you want to be on his potential buyers list when vehicles become available... or just keep an eye out, I usually post them for him here.

I'd be interested in contacting him about what is imported. Thanks.

ARB Simpson III RTT w/ Annex & Thule 422XT Rack - $1500

Found this today. Maybe someone can use it.

From the Ad:

http://sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/pts/2534064702.html

I'm trading up and letting my year old ARB series III RTT go. I've got the two person tent with integral rain fly and the annex room that encloses the ladder. This is the best roof top tent made. It retails for $1560 + $270(annex) + shipping and tax. Get mine barely used (3x) for $1500 w/ annex and $2000 with the Thule aluminum rack (purchased new from REI for this exclusive purpose), I used it to attach it to my pickup truck. This Thule rack has the 5 separate positions; it's not the one with the hi and low positions only. The tent is in like new condition and was used approximately 4x in the last year.

Tent w/ annex: $1500
Tent, annex and Thule rack 422XT: $2000
