Does anyone really charge their stuff with a camp stove? Such a weird thing but they have been around for a while now.

I have one. It works to charge a phone or whatever. More of a benefit in the third world, where electricity is more rare than cell coverage, but it works. The main benefit is the heat-generated electric fan for the stove. No external batteries needed. Fan enhanced wood stoves are great. I have used them since I bought my first zzip stove over 30 years ago, and they are terrific. The BioLite is a bit heavy for backpacking though.
