Went kayaking down the river and saw a few bands of wild horses recently. Stopped on the route home and snapped a pic, still really annoyed with the dent I got on log corral trail earlier this year. If I had put my sliders on I never wouldve been that close to the outer bank. Live and learn, i'll hammer it out in the future, kind of a two birds with one stone thing, i got a replacement non-power antenna, so that fender needs to come off anyhow.

I also installed heat extractors and painted the hood a little. More to come as time allows.

Thanks! heres, a little history on Goldi-locker;

She's from LA, had a rough life, met some people, got in with the wrong crowd, bad things happen to good trucks... totaled not once, but twice, odometer roll back, failed emissions a dozen times and finally sold to me when the frustration was too much. The last owner loved the truck, but she had taken hold of Goldi long after the damages were done. She nursed Goldi along for a bit but eventually failing emissions repeatedly, the mechanics couldnt sort it out... this meant Goldi needed a new home, or go to scrap.

Turns out, from all those wrecks nothing really happened, a tweak of the original front bumper, a broken head light, minor dents in the rear bumper, and the failing emissions? Remember the odometer roll back I mentioned? The folks that tried to take Goldi back in time from 150,000 miles to 90,000 miles accidently tore the cluster ribbon on the speed sensor reed switch input, causing a CEL that wouldn't go away making it impossible to do emissions, and it disabled cruise control. That's all fixed now and the truck provides great service. I doubt I'd ever be able to sell it with this kind of history, running a car fax sets off alarms and bells and flashing red lights to the point that you'd think you were the big winner at the casino, sometimes I feel like I am. Got the truck for dirt cheap, frame is straight, it's put in years of service. The only real dent is that one and it has nothign to do with the truck being totalled a couple times.

I recently added a little flair. I'm not keen on the colors, the contrast of gold against copper brings the orange out in the copper and im not a big fan of it. I'd like to do this in sticker form, with thinner silver and blue lines like the company logo. but this is a proof of concept and my first article attempt, everything can be revised!
