Goal Zero Light-A-Life storage

I didn't spot a relevant thread for this item, so here we go. I really like these lamps, but haven't found a solid means of transporting and securing them. Ideally, this should cost less than the item itself or around $10-15.

I'd like to see what creative ideas have been used for these. Here's what I've come up with thus far that may or may not work well. Usefulness will vary obviously depending on how it is being stored.

-XL Lens pouches: I ordered one similar to the first image in just under a 10x5 inch size. I think this might be the best solution.
-Headphone pouch: Very basic scratch protection?
-SLR Holster/fitted case or sleeve: I have a neoprene SLR pouch lying about and the light did fit quite well. This would work great if it's not going to bumped around a lot.

Other ideas I'm looking at: 32oz Nalgene type bottle insulator, Coffee can?

I have nine of them now, but my solution was not cheap, I bought another ECS case smaller than the ECS footlocker I use for my main camping gear.
I no longer use the Goal Zero Ranger 350 that is inside of the case, will be using the new ArkPak I bought recently.
But the case is big enough to hold my foldable solar panel and other solar lights too.

That's a nice setup there. With some things I just prefer the do it myself approach. I built my own solar generator using a toolbox housing a couple sealed 30ah batteries.

Also, that's a lot of light! Haha. I'm figuring I'll only use several. One for the tent, one for outside the tent and one for my kitchen/awning.

Yeah, I have a total of nine now, just bought four more.
But I am giving one to each of my sons to keep in their vehicle, and I will carry one in my rig all the time.
That will still leave six for camp.
Some on the awning, one in the crapper/shower tent, then the rest around camp :D

Lens case test. This one is called a Safrotto E-17. I picked it up on eBay pretty cheap (about 11 bucks shipped). Looks like the kind of fit I was hoping for and provides plenty of protection. Normally I stored the cord around the bulb, but it looks like it'll fit just fine on top now.

I have a couple of those lights and like them a lot. I've always just tucked them in the back of my 80. I'd like to pick up a few more at some point and a small case would be nice. I don't see lens bags as providing much crush protection, or organization. A light but sturdy box would seem to be the best solution for me but YMMV.

Yeah, I can see how it might work for some and not for others. My rationale was based on stashing them in the top of an actionpacker or in some custom bins I made for the back of my truck. I need more scratch and jostle protection than crush resistance. I used the original box for the little protection they provided until they fell apart.
