Goal Zero Battery maintainer

Testing out my new Goal Zero battery maintainer. Have to park my car outside now and I don't want to use an extension wire from the garage. Aside from being a little too bulky, it appears to be working great. It comes with a cigarette lighter and alligator clamp connector. I move it to the front windshield when I leave it for longer period of time. Currently on sale for $50 bucks from Goal Zero.

I have a panel like that from NOCO that I use to keep the battery in my BMW topped off. You might want to check to confirm that the cigar lighter is live with the key off, mine wouldn't charge through the lighter and I had to buy an adapter to plug into the OBDII port. After that, it works like a charm. The car is in storage and only gets cranked every few months to warm it up, and it lights off every time.

Unusually good value from that outfit!

Note the word Maintainer, key concept there.

Not enough to actually recharge much, just to keep topped up.
