Goal zero and dometic

Hey all,

I am already aware of the older goal zero 12v charging issues. My question is will a goal zero yeti 200x with two 100 watt panels be enough to consistently run a Dometic CFX28? Where I camp multiple weeks has fairly consistent sun so it should also be consistently charging the yeti.

I am trying not have to spend the money for a yeti 500x. The fridge, led lights (at night), and occa phone charge will be 99% of what the yeti will be used for.

Thoughts and experiences?

The storage capacity is needed to get past low insolation days.

Just overnight, a 100Ah battery (@12V so 1kWh) is plenty, assuming not to many other loads.

To really capture the output from 200W panelage, up to 400Ah would be better.

My goal is bridging at least 3 rainy days, leaving 20-30% in reserve.

If you are on the road, alternator charging can contribute most power, or a little genset for backup when stationary.

Those prepackaged banks are very poor value per kWh per year.
