Hello,
We are Eva and Alfred from Austria. In March 2015 we started our trip of a lifetime with a Mercedes Unimog truck. It takes almost 7 years from our decision to live a travel life till we made it. We must learn that a plan is only a plan and not more. We have a rough idea which route we will travel. Right now we are in Oman, crossed Iran and next want to go through Saudi Arabia to Africa, then Australia, maybe Southeast Asia, America, we will see.
In the last 30 years we travelled a lot but always only 4 weeks max. So it’s a complete new experience to travel without time limits. In general there are a lot of challenges on such a trip.
On our website
we share our adventure and many information’s about countries and other essentials. The site is in German but you will find a translate button.
From now on we will try to tell some story’s directly in this forum, because we appreciate the knowledge here and that we can get many information from other members.
At the end we’d like to give you impressions from Oman. A beautiful country, perfect for a camping trip, very kind people, absolutely safe but you should like the desert.
