Gladiator fridge location? Bed slide only?

So finally I’ve arrived here and plan to run a lithium power bank for the fridge, recharge it as I drive, solar secondary, and keeps it simple compared to my last rig. That’s said, I want a similar setup like the Goose Gear rear tall platform at 9” tall I believe, but not shelling that type of money out for that again. I’ve yet to measure width/height but I’d love to see some of your DIY setups and see what width fridge slide you were able to fit in back that clears the rear door opening. I plan to keep using my old Ironman 50L till it dies but will go bigger when needed; dual zone possibly.

I think the fridge in the cab just makes more sense cost wise since it keeps the fridges possibilities wide open as opposed to the outdoor rated ones which are only a few and quite pricey. I could settle with the 60% delete; but the fridge and slide will take up that entire space and the battery bank will still be loose, so just no point since it will need to be secured too, but have the ability to be moved around as well. Thanks in advance.

I wanted the Goose Gear but couldn’t justify the price . I made my own 100% and 60% and was able to tailor it to fit my needs. The ARB fridge is reversible. In the configuration in the photos you can access it while driving and slide it to the drivers side rear door while in camp. Accessible storage under the fridge. Made a shelf for the EcoFlow River Pro that runs the fridge while truck is powered off and charged while the truck is running. I can remove the whole setup and reinstall the seats in 1/2 hour.

Not really what you were asking for, but I run my Dometic CX3-75DZ in the back under an RDL canopy. It is all the way forward in the bed with just a small 5" space for it to breathe. The battery is back there as well, and it all stays in all the time. Since I have a family of 5, I don't have room for it upfront. Your Milage may vary, but the RLD is sweet for what I need and really let me use the bed for gear. Just another point of view.
