Easier than I expected. Had to take off the glove box completely. I did remove the blower motor for easier access, but didn’t really HAVE to.
Once the glove box was out of the way, Unclip the latch that holds the air control flap to the rod. Then cut the plastic supports off. Then squeeze a 7” by 7” cabin filter inside the box. Then apply silicon sealant around the edge of the filter. Assemble and let dry before testing.
If I were to do it again, I’d get a circular filter that fits more directly around the blower motor opening, I think it would be easier to seal, but more difficult to secure in place.
