Secondly,

I thought I fixed the wet carpet issue after sealing the floor, but nooooo it came back again!

After reading it up and smelling the anti freeze/coolant from the AC and my heater took awhile to work, I think I might concluded that my heater core is leaking. That is why it is causing it to wet my carpet.

Which bring me to another issue... the heater core OEM is running around 350 dollars!!!! I am frustrated and no way I can spend that kind of money right now especially when I just purchased RTT recently.

So I took another route; by passing the heater core.

Here are all the parts

Working on by passing the hoses aren’t fun at all!!!

The space is very narrow and after many frustrations, I finally decided to cut the hoses..

Hopefully this will work

Also I managed to replace my transfer case, after I opened it up, there is no sign of any thing left lol!!

I think I only saw one piece of small plastic and that’s about it.

I’m done for today, tomorrow I will install my driver seat back and drive my car for a week without the carpet to see if I still see any leakages.

I’m so bum right now, I was planning to do surf fishing with my cousin, the weather in Houston right now is gorgeous.

The knob by the head rest is the key. When the seat is all the way to the back (slided, not leaned), you pull that knob up and in one single motion you fold first and then help the seat up. If it moves forward in the slightest when you fold it, it will not work.

That is what I did with the one on other side and it came up no problem. I’m suspecting I need to tighten up the cable that pull the latch.

I really like it, very sturdy and it is a lot easier for me to get up there.

I’m a big guy and trying to pull myself up on the tire isn’t the best option. This is one of my favorite mods so far.
