'round n' back again

my poor , longsuffering montee, is going under the knife again this winter. this time for some unique life changing alterations.
this is not a tummy tuck but more along the lines of a gastric bypass.
I will drop a gen 2 radiator , custom built, where there is now a gen 1. this done by flipping the axle supports to give room for the bigger radiator.
finish wiring my fan , correctly this time, with volvo and bmw parts.
install new adjustable upper UCA's, with bearings in place of bushings. with openings big enough to pass an ORI struth through.
install high pinion front diff.
rebuild trans. , install my ruby t.case.
build a custom shifter,
and put the 94 rear axle under her, finally.
seems ambitious but it ain't that much really.
the only thing gots me a bit nervous is shifter controls.
gonna use an art carr 607-1 cable shift for the trans. gonna try to mount it on the dash.
and use the old transmission linkage to shift the ruby t case.
fender flares from a pajero.
new interior, and sound deadening around wheel arches.
next year??!! ORI struts, front and maybe rear.
gettin her set up this year to launch into that in 2021.
I saved this old girl from the crusher and she has given me thousands of miles of reasonably secure transportation.
