FWC Owners: questions about carrying stuff on the roof.

FWC website says 100# of gear on the roof. Wondering what folks are doing regarding toys on the roof. For us, we would want to be able to carry two sea kayaks (100-150#) on top.

With the lift-assist struts, would it be possible to raise/lower the pop-up without removing the boats?

For those with the rear steps: how useful do you find them to be with regards to helping get stuff on/off the roof?

With one kayak its a struggle. Not recommended unless back pain is your thing.

The roof may bend as well, the aluminum is quite light in the roof framing.
