Full timing in a Fuso FG140

[His and Hers Alaska]

We are the proud new owners of a ‘07 Fuso FG140, if this awesome truck looks familiar it’s because we purchased it from dtruzinski last month.
Living in a 13’ box is taking some getting used to, but a whole new world has opened up, considering we used to travel in a 32’ Class A. Our plan is to drive across the country for the next few months and ship to Europe and start our around the world adventure.

We downsized from a Wanderlodge 35' bus to the Fuso camper. Haven't regretted that.

Wondering if your trip has started yet His and Hers?

We haven’t crossed the pond yet, that will probably happen this winter. Until then we’re bouncing around North America.

Is that really possible? Do you know if it is comparable to cost freighting Halifax to Europe direct?

Definitely possible last time I checked. RORO from Halifax to Rejyvyck (sp?) and regular ferry service from Iceland to Norway )?) It used to stop in Scotland but I think it goes only to Norway now. I can't remember the prices although my recollection is that the ferry price for a vehicle was not inexpensive. It's a long passage. My recollection is that the RORO was weekly on a vessel which regularly travels the Boston-Halifax-Iceland route and a once a week or so ferry from Iceland. I also think the ferry from Norway to the east coast of Northern England also stopped running so if a person wanted to get to the UK, they'd have to drive down to Denmark or Holland to catch a ferry I think.

We have been full time for 3 years and 5 months. Still haven't got out of the states, but we are developing a 40 acre ranch. Which is what we had been searching for for 2 1/2 years.
