FS/FT: 1994 fzj80 Expediton ready (Fridge, Eeze Awn, GPS, & more!) - SOLD

1994 FZJ80 Expedition prepped (and proven)
“Mi Caballita”
$9,800

San Diego, CA

I have owned her since 2004, the longest I have ever owned a vehicle. Which says a bunch since most vehicles have only lasted me three years or so…

If she sells, I know I will regret the decision the minute she drives down the street. In fact I am having regrets right now as I type this…
Anyway, the 80 is not been getting the use it needs. Sure she can carry surfboards, surf skis, and other aquatic equipment. But, she needs to be in the dirt, not the concrete jungle. The W is in nursing school and vacations are pretty much non-existent for the next year and a half. So, hopefully this wonderful rig can go to someone who will enjoy and use her for what she has been built.

Cash preferred, but I might consider a trade…

Trades considered, Diesel Landcruiser (BJ40, BJ41, BJ42, BJ44, BJ60, BJ70, HJ… and on and on), Troopy, and possibly the right Pig (FJ55). Or a Toyota Tundra.

Issues:
• Front leather on seat bottoms cracked. It hasn’t bothered me enough to fix, b/c that money is better spent on trips…
• Clear coat peeling on front fenders (both sides) below hood line, around forward edge of sunroof, very small area on passenger side rear corner tail-light.
• Middle left air vent in cab is loose. Just not as firm in up and down movement as others.
• ”D” light is out in instrument cluster. Common issue, I just haven’t felt like pulling out the dash to fix.
• Crack on Passenger side windshield, about nickel sized. Does not leak.
• Dash has small crack from GPS sticky mount. (shown in pictures)
• ARB bumper turn signal indicators not wired up.
• Kaymar rear bumper lights not installed or wired up.
• The passenger seat will not go forward/back. This is because a small white cap fell off and I cannot find it. This part will be ordered and the seat fixed ASAP. (my wife demanded)
• E-Brake seems like it needs to be adjusted. Have to pull handle all the way up.
• Check-engine light comes on every now and then. Code is a “71” EGR system. I replaced the modulator a couple of years ago. The light will stay on for about 20-50 miles and then shuts off. Every time I say I am going to fix it, the light goes off.

Before I change my mind...
Ooopppsss. Too late.

So, uh . . . what are you going to use on those weekends when you *do* get to make a quick trip south of the border?

. . . and Bella is going to be mad when she finds out you sold her 'cruiser.

I'd hold on to it and just take off insurance and when it comes time to register, do it non-op. Won't cost you a penny and you get to keep it for when you then are going to use it regularly again.

I did the same thing with my extra Jeep - now she sits and gets driven around the block to keep her going, but we just couldn't sell her.

This rig is top notch and I will chime in with everyone else that says don't sell it.
