The Truck

2017 Nissan Frontier SV 4x4 (crew cab / long bed) 78,500km

I purchased this truck @ 73,000km and have changed all fluids with high-quality full synthetic fluids except for the power steering.

The truck has a rebuilt title from relatively minor front-end damage. All repairs were professionally done, and certified by ICBC (Insurance Corporation of British Columbia). The truck has a 2.5-inch lift front and rear (details below) with Falken Wildpeak AT3W 265/70/16 tires. This truck was used for camping and mountain biking trips, e.g. no hardcore off-roading/rock crawling. Bike rack not included in price.

At this time I won't be parting out, there is a small chance that I might sell the Hiatus separately and keep the truck. Frontiers are a great platform and the aftermarket support is continuing to grow. The truck and camper combination is thoughtfully designed. The camper interior is modular and everything can be removed in about 10 minutes to maximize space. I'll get some photos of the interior and the Propex installation soon.

There is no rear locker. There are locker options available from ARB and Tre4x4 for these differentials though.

I'm assuming that's a 5-foot bed with the Crew Cab, right? I have the King Cab with a 6-foot bed but it's the Hiatus camper that is interesting to me.

I'm not the seller, but his truck is a 6' bed. One of the semi-rare long bed crew cab SVs.

I kept looking at it and thinking it was longer than 5-ft. Having the full cab AND the 6-ft bed is kind of a big deal although the longer wheelbase might not be as desirable depending on what one is doing with the truck.

And on the contrary, the long wheelbase sounds perfect for most long-distance general overlanding where one isn't rock crawling between camps. Small lift, long wheelbase, near OEM size tires, I bet it drives nice over long distances.

Nothing to contradict. Like I said, the longer wheelbase might not be as desirable depending on what one is doing with the truck. You made my point.

Correct, it is CC with a 6-foot bed. With the high clearance rear bumper, I haven't found a water bar/cross-ditch that I haven't been able to pass through. With sliders, a locker, and 33" tires this truck would go almost anywhere if that's what you're looking for, see @thefrontieradventure on IG for a similar build. There is a chance that I will part with the camper separately. DM with an offer if interested.

Yeah I have the same set up. Can confirm not a rock crawler, turn radius isn’t great but lots of space, better for camping than the 5ft bed. Also a much smoother ride on washboard and pavement due to the longer wheel base.

Does anyone know the process for importing a vehicle from Canada into USA with a "branded/rebuilt" title?
If I had cash it might not be an issue but there might be insurance issues and financing issues I would like to be prepared for. Thanks for positive input.
