Front Runner Rack Roof Tent Mount Kit

Hopefully someone can assist.

I’m looking at the slimline Front Runner rack for my RSI Smart Canopy. I’d like to run it with the Bundutec RTT.

Has anyone, by chance, used this combination and if so, how has it performed?

Has anyone used the Front Runner RTT mount kit? As the Bundutec will overhang either side of the rack and, as the sides are raised from the main platform area, has anyone used the kit to level out the fixing platform? Does it provide adequate support? Is two kits better than one for load distribution?

We have installed Front Runner crossbars and kits in several vehicles. Our tents have rigid structral bottom platforms and do not require the cross support brace pieces, so we usually omit them. The rest of the kit is well and and easy to install.
