Sold 6/7/22. Thanks for your interest.

===============

I have an out-of-service, lightly used OzTent/Rhino-Rack Foxwing awning that some overland/expedition/vanlife type should be able to make good use of. It was on the XV-JP I now re-own for over a decade, but probably hasn't actually been deployed even a half-dozen times across its life

This awning model is still for sale new, and if you web search “Foxwing 270 degree awning” you can find the detailed product page which will lead to all to the dimensions, the user manual and the installation instructions.

This is the LEFT HAND model. It mounts on streetside, swings around to the back of your rig and ends up halfway around curbside. There's a photo below, and a web search will get lots more, probably including some on your vehicle model.

If you buy this, you are on your own for mounting hardware. This particular awning was attached directly to the side of my Wrangler with two big hex bolts through the cabin side. (It would be more commonly mounted to a roof rack or crossbars and there are mounting kits readily available for several different strategies.) This through-bolting has left two half-inch holes in the aluminum mounting panel. Also, the previous owner painted the cabin with the awning still mounted and thus there are areas where the paint dripped between the cabin and the back of the awning; these drips may or may not be visible depending on the mounting.

The awning is in fine condition, with no rips, tear, leaks, etc., and the seam sealing seems in solid condition. There are two small underside areas that have dark marks (shown). The awning extends correctly without problems. The long zipper on the cover is undamaged and works well enough, though lack of use has left it a bit tight (and they all require a hefty pull to make the vertical-to-horizontal right-angle turn.)

The tensioning strap and guy ropes were not in the same bag with the poles and pegs and I worry that, being generic pieces, I've gotten them mixed in with similar, but unrelated, pieces. I will continue to search for them, but the good new is they are nothing special and replacements are standard parts. If I can't find the original OzTent parts, I'll take $20 off so your all-in cost can stay about a third of the $889 current price.

There's no practical way to ship this anywhere, so you'd pick it up just west of Portland at about US26 and OR 217. Alternately, should you trust me enough to pay for it in advance, I can have it taken to July's Overland Expo PNW at the Redmond fairgrounds for pickup there.

If you're interested, send me a message with contact information and I'll get back to you. Thanks for your interest.
