Four Wheel Camper Build

About 5 weeks ago while scrolling through Facebook marketplace I found a older FWC grandby for sale for $300. So I went and bought it. The floor was rotten. So I was planning on rebuilding the floor anyway to fit in a 2015 GMC Sierra. So my plan was to rebuild the floor, but then I decided to rebuild the camper for the ground up

I started to tear it down and had some friends from the marine corps show up a few days early to my wedding and we quickly tore it down to the bare frame. Once I had it torn down to the bare frame, I decided to cut 14 inches off of the camper, so it would fit better in my 6.5' bed. Once I cut the camper down, I rebuilt the floor. I didn't want the stair step design, so my base is just over 48 inches wide and goes up to the height of my bed rails.
The length of the camper not including the over the cab part went from 96 to 82 inches

Nice find...

Do you have any pictures of the cab over portion stripped down.
I am contemplating extending mine but would like to have pictures before I start tearing into it.

Yes, it basically c channel all the way around, and welded in middle of the over the cab part, there is really no structure except the c channel and plywood.
