The side by side was posted because I figure someone may be looking for one because it is an off-road community with more 2wd vans the 4wd vans.

I owned a ton of stuff and have owned about everything but a plane to date.

If anyone is interested I have had this camper van for about two years and I don’t have enough time to finish it. Nothing I sell is remotely near retail and I often lose money or break even.

Not a dealer or used car salesman.. but besides the two SXSs youre trying to sell in this thread.... youve also listed at least 9 other vehicles for sale just in the past year on this site.... I dont buy it. Pretty sure even by Virginia legal standards, you meet the definition of a Motor Vehicle Dealer.

C'mon this is just a place to be entertained. The more vans (or van-like cool things) the better. Maybe no ATV/UTVs though...

Why should every other business that uses this site to make money be forced to pay to be a vendor but he decides to skirt the rules and not support the site that helps support his income....

if the admins want to give him a pass, fine... but dont lie to our faces and claim you arent a dealer...

Plus that exterior battery box or whatever that is? Kinda nice base for an RV over the usual airport van or shuttle. Looks like a nicer overall build.

This is my old van, MG coil conversion. It's incredibly solid and low miles. The seller is a stand up guy. If anyone is interested and has questions I can help. I have not talked to Alex (the seller) since he bought it and have no affiliation with the sale, just here to help if anyone needs to know the scoop/specs, etc. on it. I kind of wish I had it back. This is a great deal!

I completely agree with this and I don't want to carry on with this thread/argument/whatever but I'd like to add a couple things. I've had about 6 or 8 vans now plus various RVs. I would've advertised all of the vans here if I had been on the forums the whole time. I've also had about 150 vehicles in my 30 years of driving them. All that said, I'm not really a flipper. I've bought maybe 3 or 4 with plans to flip. Mostly I get interested, buy, mod and get over. Just short flings with all kinds of vehicles. I thought about getting a dealer's license and going in to business but in my state you have to have a storefront/commercial property and pay all kinds of fees.

The beauty of forums with free classifieds is that you can shop or sell without paying. I could give a rat's ass what legitimate businesses have to pay to be a vendor. I run my own trucking business and what I have to pay in virtually every possible direction to run that is insane! If you are a legitimate business life is expensive. Period. This is different for most of us here. It's a hobby.

If I were Deshet (and I'm not, and he can choose to take or leave my advice) I would only post things relative to overland/camper/van type vehicles here. There are plenty of ATV forums to post things like side-by-sides. But, like I said, unless he is outside of the rules then this is just a courtesy and his choice to post them or not.

I see both sides, as in not wanting to see vehicles that are beyond a certain point of making an overlander out of. I do like to see any otherwise interesting vehicles posted as well.

That looks nice, minus the engine work. But still cheap for a 4x4 van. What’s an engine R&R cost on one of those v8s?

No idea on cost but was one reason I bought the E350.
Looks like the van sold already glad somebody gave it a home.
