Yep, that was it. Certainly "unique".

That '92 Ford seems like a screaming deal. Fix the glow plugs, beef up the front end (& maybe add some lift), then paint the whole thing Olive Drab and raise the price 10k easy!

If I didn't already own an ambo... I'd probably buy that 4x4 one in Colorado. Buy it for 2-3K, have it taken to a shop for some work (1-2k budget), then fly out and go on a skiing roadtrip and camp out in the thing. Would make an awesome ski area RV for 5k or less!

Also, there's a phone # in the link so you can call 'em up & lowball.

Anyone build an armored truck into an RV? Cool w/ the tri-fold rear door. AND, I'd feel pretty safe sleeping in there, just about anywhere...

https://portland.craigslist.org/clk/cto/5819770531.html

This is a 1987 GMC Truck,

It is powered by the 8.2L Diesel
6sp Manual w/ granny 1st gear

asking $12,500 obo Feel free to e-mail questions or to arrange for pick up! Cash / Thanks

It is geared low so 60 mph in 6th, 1st & 2nd are low speed.
It does not leak inside (everything always dry)!

Cons:
The vehicle does smoke? from tail pipe. but runs very strong - diesel (been parked most it's 2nd and 3rd life; has 343k miles on vehicle).
Vehicle does have some body rust (mostly near rear wheel wells).
Only 1 set of keys! (I always have to double check I have the key).
1 outer pain of BP glass was a crack (on drivers door).

Pro's:
It's a freak'n Armored Truck!!! :)
Drives and shifts well, (I drove it up from Oregon).
Standard 6-spd Manual - no CDL needed
Rear door is a Tri-Fold door (opens all the way) ready for pallets to be load via fork lift !

This was a delivery / $$ collection vehicle originally, then a sheriff's department Personnel Carrier, still has exterior rear grab bar and step on rear. Perfectly legal with current Oregon title.

Hey Everyone just wanted to give you all a heads up, I am willing to sell my van before I put windows in it in case someone wants a cargo van like mine. I thought I wanted more of a cargo van (and I do) but my wife and son aren't thrilled with the limited visibility and I don't blame them. So before I go putting windows in a perfectly good cargo van I figured id see if someone else wants it as is, and I will just buy a window van. If your interested let me know, I have the title in hand.

Improvements to the 4x4... New injection pump and lines, new batteries, a few of the metal brake lines have been replaced and new also front new break calipers, and new universals, also has a complete brand new exhaust.

Inside 4x4 van has new thick insulation and new paneling. I took out all the Ambulance furniture, ie, medical cabinets, gurney tracks/ locks, O2 fixtures. Top is switched so the 4x4 is now a camper, just need to finish up what I started. I was going to make it a mean looking and running 4x4 camper/ bug out van. I even bought a heavy duty brush guard to give it a final touch.

Truth be told I would have finished it up this spring but my honey and we had our son in May. So, I have to put my funds/ time into him and her, not my toys. It's heartbreaking for me to sell it.

Serious inquiries only. I am asking $5,000 obo.
